Terms and Conditions of the Raffle - How to Participate
1. To register and participate, you must agree to these Terms and Conditions of the Raffle and to the
Allianz Raffle Privacy Statement
that applies to this raffle. Click here to see general Allianz Privacy Principles.
All registration is online only. To participate, go to /en/newsletter/registration/ to register. The raffle starts on April 18, 2008 at 12:00 a.m. CET.
2. Everyone who registers and agrees to the Terms and Conditions of the raffle and to the Allianz Raffle Privacy Statement may participate in this raffle.
3. No purchase is necessary to participate.
4. One registration per person will be counted for the iPod nano raffle. Once a person is nominated as a winner, he or she is excluded from all following drawings. Allianz Knowledge Partnersite reserves the right to change, modify, or end the raffle if it appears someone is attempting to send multiple, automated entries or otherwise interfere with the raffle.
5. Employees of Allianz SE, Radiate Experience GmbH or their subsidiaries, their family members, and those living in the same household as those employees are not eligible to participate or win a prize.
6. Radiate Experience GmbH will conduct three random drawings for 30 iPod nano winners during 2008, at 10:00 a.m. CET, on the following dates:
• June 18, 2008
• August 18, 2008
• October 18, 2008
• December 18, 2008 (last day of the raffle).
If a name chosen at random is ineligible, an alternate winner will be chosen. A representative of Radiate Experience GmbH will contact the winner via e-mail one week after the drawing at the latest. The winners will be asked to answer the e-mail within four weeks of the day of receipt and to pass address details on to Radiate Experience GmbH. In the event of failing to respond within the given period, the winner looses his claim to the prize and another winner will be drawn by the jury. To request the winners’ names by mail, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope marked "iPod Raffle Winner's List" to:

7. The decision of the judges regarding winners is final. Should there be a dispute over the identity of an entrant, it shall be resolved in favor of the holder of the e-mail account used to register for winning an iPod nano. If the winner provides incorrect information that precludes delivery of the prizes, the winner forfeits the prizes.
Prizes:
8. The 30 winners will receive an iPod nano, 4GB, silver. The prizes are not transferable and may not be redeemed for cash. Allianz SE and Radiate Experience GmbH assume no liability for damages in transit. Allianz SE and Radiate Experience GmbH do not warrant that the iPod nano fits to the local plug-in standards and do not bear any further costs for the commissioning and operation of the iPod nano.
9. The odds of winning depend on the number of entries.
10. The winner is responsible for any taxes and customs related costs that may be due as a result of winning and shipping the prize.

12. Allianz SE, Radiate Experience GmbH, and their respective affiliates and subsidiaries are not responsible and have no liability for lost, misdirected, or late entries; nor for (i) electronic transmission errors, (ii) theft, destruction, alteration, or unauthorized access of or to entries, (iii) technical problems, malfunctions or errors in the operation of any hardware or software required to transmit entries or operate the raffle as planned, including computer viruses or bugs, or tampering, unauthorized intervention fraud, traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof, or any other causes beyond the control of Allianz SE, Radiate Experience GmbH, and their respective affiliates and subsidiaries. If any of the foregoing occurs, Allianz SE reserves the right in its sole discretion to take any one or more of these steps: disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry or voting process, cancel, modify, delay, or suspend the contest.
CAUTION: any attempt by anyone to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the raffle is a violation of criminal and civil laws for which
Allianz SE reserves the right to seek damages from such person to the fullest extent of the law.
Local Legal Restrictions:
13. The Allianz Knowledge Website iPod Raffle is not intended for any person in any jurisdiction where (by reason of that person's nationality, residence or otherwise) the publication or availability of the Allianz Knowledge website is prohibited. Reservation of Rights:
14. We reserve the right to change, modify, add, or remove portions of these terms of use at any time.
Jurisdiction, Severability:
15. Any action arising out of these terms or this website shall be litigated in, and only in, courts located in Munich, Germany, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts and further agree that they are a convenient forum for you. In the event that any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions will not be affected, and the unenforceable provision will be replaced with an enforceable provision that comes close to the intention underlying the unenforceable provision.
