Stop Investing in Coal (8/10)

A coal power plant is demolished in Weishan County, China. China plans to invest 265 billion dollars in renewable energy by 2020 to wean itself off polluting coal.

RECIPE finds that investments in conventional coal-fired power plants without carbon capture and storage (CCS) have to stop immediately in order to limit global warming below 2°C.
