Insurance should not only be available for the rich but more so for the poor. It is the poor and the disadvantaged , the local farmers, the small local businesses,that will not have enough money to recover from a natural peril.Insurance is fundamentally about the transfer of risks, without an affordable insurance solution from insurers, it will be the demise of the local then eventual demise of the regional markets /economies that will never fully recover from the next major catastrophe just around the corner. The ripple affects will ultimately affect the world economy.
