From September 9 to 13, the HUSUM WindEnergy fair will take place in Husum, Germany. Every two years, this leading international fair for the wind industry displays the newest technologies and presents innovations and services for all aspects of the wind industry.

International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer
20 years ago, 24 countries signed the “Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer” that paved the way to the internationally acknowledged “Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer”. Today, 191 countries are party to the Montreal Protocol. To raise awareness on ozone layer protection, various events and activities worldwide are taking place. Find out more.

World Carfree Day
World Carfree Day was initiated in the 1970s during the oil crisis. Organizing carfree days in European cities since the 90s, the World Carfree Network encourages carfree alternatives to the benefit of the environment, cities and their citizens. Coinciding with the European Mobility Week, World Carfree Day invites to join events and celebrations around the world.
