17. August | World Water Week
World Water Week 2008 will be held in Stockholm, Sweden, from August 17 to 23. Experts from governments, NGOs, business, and science will come together to discuss this year’s theme: "Progress and Prospects on Water: For a Clean and Healthy World" with a special focus on Sanitation. Workshops, seminars, and side events will take place at the Stockholm International Fairs and Congress Center. The Stockholm Water Prize 2008 will be awarded to outstanding achievements to protect the world’s water resources.
