Microfinance Training of Trainers
The fourth Microfinance Training of Trainers course is running from August to November 2007. This distance learning course aims to strengthen the institutional capacity of microfinance in the Asia-Pacific Region and to enhance the knowledge of microfinance practitioners.
The course comprises four pillars: self-paced study using digital learning materials, online tutoring, videoconference sessions, and moderated E-discussion.
It explores how microfinance operations can provide financial services to poor people on a sustainable basis. Participants will learn about best practices from institutions in Asia, Latin America, and Africa.
The course is run by the Tokyo Development Learning Center in cooperation with the Asian Development Bank Institute, the World Bank, and the World Bank Institute.
